Our Campus

The National World War II Museum is located in downtown New Orleans on a six-acre campus, where five soaring pavilions house historical exhibits, on-site restoration work, a period dinner theater, and restaurants.

Our History Matters

Founded in 2000 and designated as America’s official WWII Museum in 2003, The National World War II Museum teaches and inspires with the lessons of the Great War so that sacrifices made for freedom are never forgotten.
